EXPERIENCING CHANNELIZATION, INCISION, AND BANK EROSION.
THIS POSES A FUTURE THREAT TO A NEIGHBORING PROPERTY,
AND THE HOMEOWNERS DESIRE A HEALTHIER AND MORE
FUNCTIONAL STREAM. THE HOMEOWNERS ATTEMPTED TO
REMEDY THIS WITH THE USE OF THEIR LANDSCAPE
CONTRACTOR, HOWEVER DID NOT REALIZE THE PERMITS
REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK IN WATERS OF THE U.S.. THE
SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT INCLUDES RESTORATION OF THE
STREAM REACH- REALIGNMENT OF THE MAIN CHANNEL TO
ADDRESS HAIRPIN TURNS, AND STREAM BANK STABILIZATION
THROUGH GRADING AND RIPARIAN PLANTINGS.
