2 Erosion & Sed�ment Contro( Practices Eros�on and sed�ment control pract�ces must be in full compl�ance w�th all specificat�ons governing the proper design installatton and operation and maintenance of such Best Management Pract�ces m order to protect surface waters standards a The erosion and sedtment control measures for the pro�ect must be des�gned �nstalled operated and mamta�ned in accordance with the most recent version of the North Carolrna Sed�ment and Erosron Control Plannrng and Desrgn Manual b The des�gn mstallat�on operat�on and maintenance of the sed�ment and erosion control measures must be such that they equal or exceed the requ�rements spec�fied tn the most recent version of the North Carolina Sedrment and Erosron Control Manual The devices shall be mamtamed on all construct�on s�tes borrow sites and waste p�le(spoil)pro�ects mc(udmg contractor owned or leased borrow pits assoc�ated with the pro�ect c For borrow p�t sites the erosion and sed�ment control measures must be des�gned �nstalled operated and maintamed �n accordance with the most recent vers�on of the North Carolrna Surface Mrrang Manual d The reclamat�on measures and �mplementat�on must comply w�th the reclamat�on m accordance w�th the requ�rements of the Sedimentation Pollution Control Act 3 No Waste Spoil Solids or F�ll of Any Kmd No waste spo�l sol�ds or fill of any kmd shall occur �n wetlands waters or r�parian areas beyond the footpnnt of the tmpacts dep�cted m the Pre Construction Notification All construction activit�es mcludmg the design mstallation operation and ma�ntenance of sed�ment and eros�on control Best Management Pract�ces shall be performed so that no violat�ons of state water quality standards statutes or rules occur 4 No Sediment& Erosion Control Measures w/n Wetlands or Waters Sediment and eros�on control measures shall not be placed �n wetlands or waters without prior approval by the D�v�sion If placement of sed�ment and erosion control devices �n wetlands and waters is unavoidable des�gn and placement of temporary erosion controt measures shall not be conducted �n a manner that may result�n d�s equ�libr�um of wetlands or stream beds or banks ad�acent to or upstream and down stream of the above structures All sediment and erosion control devices shall be removed and the natural grade restored w�thin two(2)months of the date that the Divis�on of Land Resources or locally delegated program has released the pro�ect 5 Diffuse Flow Plan Approval All stormwater shall be directed as dtffuse flow at non eros�ve veloc�t�es through the protected stream buffers and will not re concentrate before discharg�ng into the stream as identified w�th�n ISA NCAC 2B 0233 and 1 SA NCAC 2B 0267 6 Protectrve Fenc�ng The outs�de buffer wetland or water boundary and along the construction corndor w�thtn these boundaries approved under this author�zation shall be c(early marked w�th orange warning fencing (or sim�lar high visibility material) for the areas that have been approved to infrmge wrth�n the buffer wetland or water prior to any land disturb�ng activit�es to ensure compliance with 15A NCAC 2B 500 •Page 3 7 Cert�ficate of
