These two drawings have been revised to address comments from your office in a letter to Mr. Paul Thames, Orange County, dated January 4, 2006. Drawing B-2.OA is an enlargement of the stream being impacted. Specifically, the comment from your office have been addressed as follows: 1. All stream impacts have been shown and labeled. The impact to the stream will be limited to the area being shown as repaired with rip rap. Rip rap is proposed to repair both the disturbed stream channel and banks. No other stream impacts will occur. 2. The Neuse River buffers impacts have been indicated by labeling and by shading the area of the buffer that is impacted. 3e The Neuse River buffers have been shown on the drawings. Both zone 1 and zone 2 have been added. Hatch patterns have been added to each buffer zone to make them more visible. 4. Waters of the State have been shown on the drawings. The unnamed tributary to Seven Mile Creek has been shaded from top-of--bank to top-of--bank. Please use the attached information to continue your review of this project.
