Dear Mr. McMillan and Mr. Wrenn,
I am writing to notify you that JF Wilkerson, the contractor that Orange County hired to do
the Buckhorn/Gravelly Hill Water/Sewer extension project has completed the work that you recommended
to clean up the stream crossing along West Ten Rd (SR 1144). As per our 19 March 2007 meeting and
discussion at the project stream crossing site, I have attached digital pictures of the utility stream crossing
and rip-rap erosion protection measures for your review. There are "Before" and "After" pictures from two
vantage points along the stream, near where the stream flows into the large culverts and under West Ten
Road. Assuming that you find the results of the contractor's work acceptable and substantially compliant
with your field recommendations, Iwould ask that you forward your acceptance of the modifications to
Chuck Edwards, the NCDOT District Engineer for this district.
If you have any questions or need additional pictures or documentation, please advise. Thank you for your
time and attention.
