This email is in response to our phone conversation on September 19, 2011. The following are the items addressed in our
conversation.
1) Avoidance of wetland impacts on Lots 580, 581, 582, 586 and 587 by moving the lots to the south side of the road, adjacent
to BMP #4 and BMP #5:
Moving the specified lots to the upland areas adjacent to BMP #4 and BMP #5 was not an option as these areas have been
designated for construction of future BMPs #4 & #5. The stormwater management plan is being permitted for construction
approval for Phase I, and conceptual approval for the remaining phases. Due to the size of the project, it was not feasible to
design the stormwater management system for entire project to construction level design. Therefore, the engineers conducted
preliminary calculations for the approximate size of the future BMPs based on impervious alotments for each phase. The
original Overall Impervious & CAMA Plan submitted with the CAMA Major Permit Application identified the BMPs for
reference of their location, and the surrounding uplands were allocated for expansion of the BMPs once the stormwater plan for
this phase had been designed. However, the original Overall Impervious & CAMA Plan did not specify that the surrounding
uplands had been allocated for the construction of the BMP #4 & #5, which caused these areas to appear as upland alternatives
for the specified lots. The attached Overall Impervious & CAMA Plan has been revised to identify BMP #4 and BMP #5 as
future BMPs, and has expanded the size of the BMPs to represent more accurate sizing of the BMPs. The revised Overall
Impervious & CAMA Plan exhibits that Lots 580, 581, 582, 586 & 587 can not be moved to the south side of the road.
2) The need for Impacts 116, 117 & I18 on Wetland Impact Map 6 was not clear:
Impacts 116,117 & 118 are needed for construction of the roads. Wetland Impact Map 6 (attached) has been revised to show the
grading of the roads to exhibit the need for these wetland impacts.
Dave and Daniel - I will be mailing you a copy of the revised Overall Impervious & CAMA Plan (24 x 36) and revised Wetland
Impact Map 6 for your files.
