Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this application: The project area is a horse/goat farm, with pasture on the north side of stream and grown up pasture and woods on the south side of the stream. The streambanks are failing. Vertical banks with sparse vegetation continues to erode during storm events. Animals currently do not have access to the stream for watering or browsing. 3b. Explain the purpose of the proposed project: The purpose of the project is to stabilize the streambanks and implement a conservation plan to restore woody vegetation along the stream corridor. 3e.
