Dear Mr. Moles:
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received the project material dated September 19, 2011 for the
above referenced project. A Public Notice issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers will be necessary
to begin the review and approval process. Please note that the following must be received prior to
issuance of a 401 Water Quality Certification.
Until the Public Notice is provided, I will request(by copy of this letter)that the Corps of Engineers place
this project on hold. Also, this project will be placed on hold for our processing due to incomplete
information (I 5A NCAC 2H .0507(a)).
