The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected streams and buffers on the subject property. This project is on hold and incomplete until we receive the additional information requested below. If we do not receive the requested information, your project will be formally returned as incomplete. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: DWQ does allow new stormwater conveyances to directly discharge into a stream without 30% nitrogen removal and attenuated flow through the riparian buffer per [15A NCAC 02B .0233(6)]. In addition, DWQ does not allow concentrated flow from manmade conveyances through the buffer. a. Please provide a diffuse flow plan for the site. b. You must show that this site meets diffuse flow requirements with a level spreader or other BMP per Chapter 8 of the BMP Manual (see http://portal.ncdenr.org/web/wq/ws/su/bmp-manual). This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers.
