Based on the information supplied by you in a letter dated August 18, 2003, the impacts requiring EEP mitigation are located in Cataloging Unit 030030002 of the Cape Fear River Basin in the Central Piedmont Eco-Region, and are summarized below. Stream Impacts: 7,191 feet As stated in your letter, the subject project is listed in Exhibit 2 of the IVlemorandum of Agreement among the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District dated July 22, 2003. The compensatory mitigation for the subject project will be provided in accordance with Section IX, EEP Transition Period, of this agreement. 221 s.
