Dear Mr. Setzer:
On August 16, 2011, I inspected the construction work for the new route of NCSR 1660 (Siler Road) in Macon
County. Construction includes heavy grading and bridge site preparation. Sediment and erosion control
structures appear to be working properly.
Please ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and mulching are
performed as needed to protect State surface waters. A copy of the inspection report is attached to this letter.
