Explain the purpose of the proposed project: To replace an approximate 24" existing sanitary sewer line that crosses Marsh Creek. The existing line was damaged and required immediate replacement. 3e. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used: An investigation found that the sewer line was corroded and failing. The proposed project replaced approximately 110 feet of sanitary sewer which falls within Zone 1 and Zone 2. A sanitary sewer bypass ("pump-around") was installed using pumps, flexible hose, and generators. Conventional construction equipment (trackhoes, dump trucks, trench box) was used for the installation. Sediment control devices was installed.
