REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION: MODIFIED STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
Dear Sir or Madam:
On December 3, 2009,the Division of Water Quality(DWQ) issued an approval of 401 Water Quality
Certification to impact 0.133 acre of jurisdictional wetlands for the purpose of constructing the above
named project. Condition 6 of the 401 Certification requires that the stormwater r►ianagenient
facilities approved by the DWQ on December 3, 2009 be constructed and operational before any
building is occupied at the site.
On June 5, 2011, the DWQ received a request for a revision to the Stormwater Management Plan
(dated June 29, 2011). The purpose of the revision was to replace the originally proposed
bioretention area with a wet detention pond to better suit the groundwater conditions on the site.
The DWQ has determined that the revised stormwater management plan was incomplete as discussed
below.
Additional Information Requested:
1. Please provide a plan sheet showing the overall site at a scale of no smaller than 1"= 100'. The
plan sheet should include the following information:
a. One-foot proposed contours.
b. The delineated drainage basin for Wet Detention Pond#1.
c. Boundaries of the proposed drainage easement.
d. The stormwater drainage system, including all inlets, outlets and conveyances.
2. Please correct the error on Sheet C-7.1 that shows the permanent pool elevation at 526.0 instead
of 526.5.
3. On the planting plan specifications, please removed irrelevant information such as comments
pertaining to bioretention areas,trees and shrubs, etc.
