Plan Revision Culvert #1 and #2
During the February environmental walkthrough, the NCDOT was asked to add Class B
Rip Rap to the slopes on each corner for both Culvert #1 and Culvert #2. The NCDOT
has attached a drawing which shows the additional Class B Rip Rap along the slopes to
help stabilize the slopes from washing out. The Class B Rip Rap as shown on the
drawings will not be placed inside any hand clearing limits.
We are asking for your approval on the requested revision, so that we can move forward
with stabilizing these banks.
Should any additional information be required, please advise.
