This, will divert the entire stream so a pump should not be required. We will do this in a manner that does not erode the opposite strea bank. I plan to hold a preconstruction meeting the day work begins and I will make sure the contractor is aware of this requireme am not sure of the work schedule as we are still awaiting the results of the sewer TV inspection, but I will advise as soon as I kno that you can attend if you like. From: John Butler [mailto jbutlerggeotec.com] Sent: Thursday, July 14, 20116:32 PM To: Euliss, Amy Cc: Carl von Isenburg Subject: Re: Tar Creek Hi Amy, I have 14 LF of temporary sandbags just upstream from the planned J-Hook. I am not attempting to pump around, this is just a means of diverting some of the flow to make the work easier. I have 18 LF of temporary rip-rap planned below the J-Hook to give the track hoe something to sit on while he swings the stones for the J-Hook into position. He might not even need the rip-rap. We have to remove the fluffy dirt that slid down the hill anyway to give the wall something solid to sit on, and if he can make himself a pad in the process he will just do that instead and avoid the rip-rap altogether. The plan is to get in there and set up the temporary ramp and wait for the lowest flow possible before working in the stream. If it rains and we need to wait a day for the water to go down before we work in the stream we will. John A.
