inaccurate information as discussed below.
Additional Information Requested:
The reading of Water Quality Certification GC3821,Nationwide 18, states that written approval and fee
are necessary when"the activity is associated with or in response to a Notice of Violation or an
enforcement action initiated by the Division and/or the Division of Land Resources." DWQ is unable to
accept this project as"courtesy".
® The 401 Certification cannot be processed until five(5)complete sets of the application and
associated maps are received at the DWQ Central Office in Raleigh along with the appropriate
fee. Please remit four(4)more signed application sets.
® The appropriate fee to remit for this project is $240 made payable to NC DENR—DWQ.
Please submit this information within 30 calendar days of the date of this letter. This letter only addresses
the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers.
