In accordance with 15A NCAC 02H.0100, enclosed is the December 2020, NPDES DMR for Duke Energy
Progress Carolina's Cape Fear Plant — Ash Beneficiation Facility. Please note that we were unable to
sample Outfalls 001 or 002 during the semiannual monitoring Year 1— Period 2 due to the lack of a
storm event that meets the required sampling criteria.

submittal.
I certify, under penalty of law, that this document and all attachments were prepared under my direction or supervision
in accordance with a system designed to assure that qualified personnel properly gather and evaluate the information
submitted. Based on my inquiry of the person orpersons who manage the system, or those persons directly responsible
for gathering the information, the information submitted is. to the best of my knowledge and belief, true, accurate, and
complete. 1 am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting false information, including the possibility of
