Dear Jacob Hodge:
The Municipal Unit of the Division of Water Resources has reviewed the Industrial User Pretreatment Permit
(IUP) modification submitted by the Town of Forest City for the following Significant Industrial User (SIU). The
IUP modification was received by the Division on January 6, 2021.

0002 Danfoss Power Solutions 11, LLC
The review indicates that the IUP is adequate and meets the minimum requirements of 15A NCAC 211.0905 -
.0916 and 40 CFR 403.8(f)(1)(iii). The IUP was modified to change the industry name from Eaton Aeroquip LLC
to Danfoss Power Solutions II, LLC. The permit shall become effective on March 1, 2021.
Regardless of this approval action today, within 180 days of the effective date of any reissued/modified NPDES
permit, the Permittee would be required to submit to the Division a written technical evaluation of the need to revise
local limits.
Federal and State pretreatment regulations require the local delegated pretreatment program to effectively control
and document the wastewater discharge from SIUs to the POTW. It is the POTW's responsibility to ensure that
these objectives are consistently met.
