Subject: Dare SR 1214 Emeline Ln permit mod.
NCDOT would like to request a permit modification for the pipe replacement on SR
1214 Emeline Ln in Dare Co. NCDOT is proposing to add an additional 24" x 30'
corrugated aluminum pipe which would bring the total number of pipes to 4 @ 24" x
30' CAP. The additional pipe is being requested based on concerns that the 3 @ 24"
x 30' CAP would not allow adequate flow in the channel. All the original conditions
of the permits will be followed. CAMA GP .2300 No. A54277 and NW 3 Action ID SAW-
2009-01856. Attached is a drawing showing the additional pipe. Let me know if you
need any additional information.
