On May 2, 2011, I inspected the construction work at the new bridge site on NCSR 1890, Hungry Creek Road
in Haywood County. Approximately one half of the new bridge has been constructed and traffic has been
rerouted to the new bridge section.
Please continue to ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and
mulching are performed as needed to protect downstream waters. A copy of the inspection report is attached
to this letter.

Reviewed project with DOT on-site inspector.
One half of the new bridge has been completed and traffic has been rerouted to the new section of bridge.
Maintain erosion control devices and continue with seeding and matting as required to protect State surface
waters.
Care should be taken when removing the old timber bents adjacent to the river.
