Hey Ian and Amy!
realize it's late on Friday, however, our mail just came and I got the DWQ "Request for More Information" letter for the
above project.
The first item on the letter requests that we verify that the USACE will be permitting this project as a NWP 12 and not as
an NWP 29. If you look at the first page of the application, I placed (in bold) that Mr. James Lastinger verified this very
detail on March 31, 2011 and said that we could proceed under the NWP 12 as the sewer crossings are the gDly
jurisdictional impacts on the site. I have also cc-ed James on this email as proof that we did in fact have this discussion.
The next item discusses whether any "stormwater (will) be captured in a pipe on the site..." We requested a NWP 12
which does not have a stormwater component associated with it, therefore, this question is irrelevant. I also detailed the
fact that there was no stormwater requirement for the project on page 9 of the application. We did submit a diffuse flow
plan for the site for DWQ's review as required.
If you are available and feel it appropriate, I'd like to discuss this with you in more detail.
