Sue,
Attached is a PDF of the Agent Authorization. The plan for dredging is to remove approximately 8,300 cubic yards from
the pond bed. Temporary fill associated with the haul road and berm will be clean fill (dirt or railroad ballast) material
and total approximately 390 cubic yards. This assumes 1.5' deep railroad ballast with a geofabric underneath. The actual
amount necessary should be less as much of the ballast could be reused for each "spur" on the haul road. This material
will be removed/excavated from the pond before the dredging work is completed. The applicant prefers to use wooden
mats instead of temporary fill and will be trying this first.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Clement,
I will verify this under a NWP 3 but I do need additional information regarding impacts.
Can you break down the impacts for me? I would like to see the total amount of dredged
material to be excavated, amount of temporary fill associated with the road, berm, and
any other temporary fill.
Thank you,
Tasha McCormick
