Carthage Colonies residential subdivision, which received Nationwide Permits and a Water Quality Certification in 2001.
This phase of this development is primarily single-family residential with a small multi-family component with the
accompanying road, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure necessary. The proposed project includes four road
crossings of stream channels and/or wetlands and three sanitary sewer crossings.

Highway 1, take a left on Carthage Street at Tramway just south of Sanford. The entrance to Carthage Colonies is on
the right approximately 1 mile from US 1 (Gloucester Dr.). Turn right on Quartermaster Drive to access the site of the
proposed project. A USGS Location Map and Lee County Soil Survey Map of the proposed project are attached.
Please attach a map of the site location using USGS 1:24,000 topographic map and a copy of the latest bound
and published County soil survey with the project/site boundaries delineated. A site plan should also be included
for all projects other than stream and wetland determinations.
