Lawrence, Member Manager 803-A East Main Street Havelock, NC 28532 DWQ Project # 11-0151 Craven County Subject Property: Longleaf Pines Subdivision-Phase VII, (Tax ID# 7-104-9016) Neuse River Basin, Brice Creek (NEU 10, 27-101-40(7); NSW, SC, SW) RETURN OF APPLICATION Dear Mr. Lawrence: On February 14, 2011, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your revised application dated January 31, 2011 regarding your request to construct a 78 lot subdivision as Phase VII to Longleaf Pine Subdivision. The DWQ has determined that your application is still incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Since this project was put on hold for additional information on March 23, 2011, and you did not response with in the required 30 days to address our questions, we are therefore returning your application. If you want to carry out this proposed impact, you will need to reapply and pay the 401 Certification fee again. If you want to reapply, please provide the following information so that we may review your project. Additional Information Requested: On March 22, 2011 an on-site visit was conducted by Mr. Roberto Scheller of this Office and Mr. William Wescott and Ms. Tracey Wheeler of the Army Corp of Engineers. It is therefore necessary to provide this Office with a signed Jurisdictional Determination of all wetlands on the proposed development site. A map showing locations of all wetlands with an overlay of lots and roadways is required to replace Sheet 2 of 5 (Overall Site & Fill Location). This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
