This Rule requires the upper three feet of casing to be grouted with a concrete or cement type grout. The variance request is for the construction of two (2) monitoring wells located at 704 East Main Street, in Burnsville, Yancey County, North Carolina. Based upon the information provided by your agent, John Waites, and site specific conditions it is my finding that the factors specified are sufficient to satisfy the conditions for approval of a variance as defined in 15A NCAC 2C.0118. Please note the variance conditions, listed below, regarding the construction of these monitoring wells. 7.TOne 1 AQUIFER PROTECTION SECTION—Asheville Regional Office(ARO) 1`7OtffiC .rcifi a, 2090 U.S.70 Highway,Swannanoa,NC 28778-8211 ytt/yrryl!
