Ms Chapman,
The pipe (bridge) is 19.5 feet if you count the outside flange, the length given on the pipe
is 17.9 feet (the straight piece not counting the flange.
The3 pipe is 4 feet in diameter.
If I understand this correctly,
Zone 1 would be 19.5 ft x 30 feet = 585 sq ft Zone 2 would be 19.5 ft x 20 feet = 390 sq ft
I'm mailing the signature page this morning.
Thanks,
Richard

Thank you for the application Mr. Shagott.
It looks good except for one thing.
I need to know the sq footage(width X's length) of the buffer impacts on page 7 of the
application.
Zone 1 is the first 30 feet from the bank of the stream measured landward.
Zone 2 is the outer 20 feet of the 50-foot buffer.
Also, I will need you to mail me a hardcopy of the signature page to: DWQ, Wetlands and
Stormwater Branch, Attn: Amy Chapman, 1650 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1650.
Thanks!
Please let me know if you need anything from me.

Good afternoon, Ms Chapman.
Please find attached the above document plus some pictures of the pipe in place in the creek
in my front yard as well as the character of the creek in general. I hope the pictures help.
I've tried to answer the questions to the best of my knowledge and would be happy to answer
any others you may have. Our Chief Engineer here suggested I request a site visit from
someone in your department if more detailed information is necessary since I would certainly
need guidance if that were the case.
Thanks again.
I'll stop pestering you all for updates and assume all is going well unless I hear otherwise.
Richard J. Shagott
