Gentlemen-
Our office received a request to re-survey jurisdictional areas in the vicinity of US 17 and US Forest Service (USFS) Road
that runs perpendicular to the east of US 17 in North Maysville.

The jurisdictional features in the identified study area had been clipped during corridor selection or were otherwise not
included in the USACE verification process and field visit that took place on 24 Nov 2009 by USACE (Wescott). NCDOT
engineers and designers requested NEU conduct additional surveys and acquire data on potential waters of the US in the
area with missing data.
On 21 March 2011, NCDOT biologists conducted on-site field investigations in the "blue box" area identified in the
attached figures. Based on this visit the following changes were made (below). No new wetland areas/types or streams
were discovered.

This information is being provided for USACE and DWQ for the upcoming April Merger meeting for R2514B.
Also, we request that the USACE and DWQ conduct an onsite jurisdictional determination prior to the April Merger
meeting.
