Project Description -NCDOT proposes to replace Bridge # 159 which is currently a 2 span 35'
X 20' bridge with a single span 67'X 30' bridge completely spanning all of Bear Swamp. There
is only 51 SF of wetland fill proposed for this project. All stonnwater is directed to a modified
concrete tlum located outside Buffer Zone 2 where the storrrtwater will then sheetflow through
the buffer back into Bear Swamp
