This e-mail is in regards to WaRO comments on the Chocowinity Industrial Park individual permit (IP) application
received on this Office on February 24, 2011 and reviewed by myself. I was present during the preliminary meetings for
this project. Stream calls and Tar-Pamlico Buffers were indicated in application. Wetlands lines have been established,
the following items were noted:
Proposed railroad crossing of wetlands do not show culvert placement to maintain hydraulic connectivity of wetlands on
plan sheets impact Exhibit C2, C3
Proposed railroad crossings of wetlands do not show 20% culvert burial on plan sheets impact Exhibit A2, B2, and B5.
It was not noted if riparian buffer notifications were included in the deed notifications. This application did not include a
PCN form and total impacts for buffers, wetlands, and streams. If you should have any questions concerning this IP
