DeWitt; Anthony W. Nardo Subject: Zebulon Stream Determination Express Review Attachments: zebulon-expressreview.pdf Lia, I have attached an Initial Interest in Participation in the Express Review Program requesting the NCDWCZto make 6 stream determinations on the subject site located in the Town of Zebulon, Wake County, NC. In addition to the request form, I have attached Figure 1-Site Location map, Figure 2 - USGS Site Location map, Figure 3 -Soils Location map, Figure 4 -USDA Soils map, and Figure 5 -Approximate Waters of the U.S. and Wetlands Boundary Map. The wetlands, ponds and stream of the site have been delineated in the field, and we are asking for the stream determinations in order to establish the location and extent of the Neuse River Buffers on site for project planning purposes. We are most concerned with the potential Neuse River buffers that may be placed around the areas mapped as Wetland A, Wetland B, and Wetland G since they are shown as streams on Figure 4 -USDA Soils map, but they do not have the characteristics of streams and instead have the three-parameter characteristics of wetlands. Additionally, the features mapped as Seasonal RPW B, Seasonal RPW G and Wetland E will need a buffer determination. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thanks, Brandon J.
