''. ~'{ ~.fUMLI I t i`~E fl.A~r4~:~S ~,~~} ;''(;RMWA~ftR BFd~1NCH U-3344A, SR 3015 (Airport Boulevard) Widening, Wake County; Neuse River Basin (Cataloging Unit 03020201); Central Piedmont Eco-Region The purpose of this letter is to notify you that the Ecosystem Enhancement Program (EEP) proposes to provide compensatory stream mitigation for the unavoidable 109 feet of stream impacts. Also, EEP proposes to provide preservation to compensate for the unavoidable 0.07 acre of riverine wetland impacts of the subject project in the following manner: Langley Cypress Creek (Franklin County) 0.70 acre The subject TIP project is listed in Exhibit 2 of the Memorandum of Agreement among the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District dated July 22, 2003. The riverine wetland mitigation for the project will be provided in accordance with Section IX, EEP Transition Period, of the Agreement. The EEP intends to provide compensatory stream mitigation at a ratio up to 2:1 in Cataloging Unit 03020201 of the Neuse River Basin. Based on the infornation supplied by you in a letter dated December 29, 2004, the impacts are located in CU 03020201 of the Neuse River Basin in the Central Piedmont (CP) Eco-Region, and are as follows: Riverine Wetland Impacts: 0.07 acre Stream Impacts: 109 feet (Warm) As stated in your letter, the subject project is listed in Exhibit 2 of the Memorandum of Agreement among the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the North Cazolina Department of Transportation, and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District dated July 22, 2003. The mitigation for the subject project will be provided in accordance with this agreement.
