This is a renovation project of an existing NCWRC public boat ramp
facility on Falls Lake/Neuse River. This project will apply for a NWP 3
from USACE and will require written approval because an 8'-w4de
floating dock is requested (wider than 6'). A Neuse River Buffer
Authorization will also be required.
The project consists of removing the existing boat ramp and
constructing a new single -lane concrete boat ramp that is 15' x 129'.
The proposed floating dock is 60' x 8'.
The existing asphalt parking lot will be resurfaced and a small
expansion will be added to create a row of single car parking spaces.
