ARO staff met with Mike Abel to set up ARO sampling equipment. Samples were split from the facility's
sampler. The ARO sample results are as follows:
BOD — 5.8 mg/I
Fecal Coliform - <35 col/100ml
TSS — 6.2 mg/I
Observations of the WWTP were:
Structural concrete decay remains a concern. The ORC stated management has considered a new
WWTP at this site but is unlikely in the next year. However, discussions with an adjacent landowner
are ongoing.
Clarifier blanket was high. The ORC wasted while we were onsite.
Upon departure the second day turbid water started coming into the WWTP from a utility operation that
was performing directional boring in the vicinity and hit a sewerline.
