Please reference your letter dated September 13, 2010 requesting written confirmation to
close the Northeast Creek Mitigation site associated with the replacement of Bridge No. 3 over
the Little Northeast Creek on SR 1423 in Onslow County. Based on the 2009 annual monitoring
report and a September 1, 2010 field meeting, we concur with your request to cease monitoring
of the mitigation site since the Restoration Plan for the Northeast Creek Mitigation Site has been
satisfied.
