Dear Mr. Wainwright:
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is conducting the planning and environmental
studies for the above referenced Division-Managed Low-Impact Bridge Replacements. The projects are
located in NCDOT Division 1.
The purpose of this letter is to solicit your input concerning the potential impact of the five proposed
projects upon social, economic, demographic, land use or environmental conditions near the project sites.
Project location maps for each of the bridges are attached.
Please note that there will be no formal interagency scoping meeting for this project. This letter constitutes
solicitation for scoping comments-. To allow us to frilly evaluate the impacts of the proposed projects, please
respond in writing by February 9, 2011 concerning any beneficial or adverse impacts of the proposed projects
relating to the interest of your agency to:
