On February 3, 2011, 1 met with Eric Mularski at the site to discuss the proposed project. In general, no obvious
problems/concerns were discussed. However, we did discuss the need for riprap (permanent impact) in the stream
channels given the flow. We also discuss the culvert replacement proposed that was not included in the original
submittal. We agreed to allow the culvert replacement to be added to the existing application. For procedural concerns
this project will be placed on hold until the required information is received. Once received, there should be no problem
with issuance of the approval.
Pursuant to 15A NCAC 2H .0507(h), please be advised that this project will be placed on hold until all the
necessary information is provided. Failure to submit the requested information may result in the application being
withdrawn from consideration. You may reapply, but a new fee and application will be required. In addition, this office is
requesting that the Army Corps of Engineers place a hold on processing the application.
