Subject: Big Warrior Creek Repairs - Wilkes County (#02-1528v2)

DWQ has reviewed the PCN and repair/restoration plans for the Big Warrior Creek site. DWQ personnel (John Dorney
and Sue Homewood) visited the site last year and looked at the proposed repair areas. DWQ concurs with the proposed
repair activities. Due to the size of the stream to be repaired, DWQ approves exemption of the requirement for "work in
the dry" at this site.
The project is deemed issued. DWQ WSRO staff have requested that the repaired areas be visually monitored quarterly
for at least one year and/or two bankfull events.
