APPROVAL OF REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF SUBMITTAL OF FINAL WRITTEN
STORMWATER PLAN
Dear Mr. Baran:
On May 17, 2006, DWQ staff spoke with Mr. John Schrum, of Horvath Associates regarding an
extension to the due date for submittal of a final written stormwater plan for Hope Valley Commons
as required in Condition No. 7 of your 401 Water Quality Certification, issued to you on March 21, 2006.
The original due date for submittal of the final written stormwater plan was May 20, 2006. The DWQ
will hereby grant a final extension for the above-referenced stormwater plan to June 19, 2006. If the
required final written stormwater plan for Hope Valley Commons is not received in the DWQ Central
office by June 19, 2006, your existing 401 Water Quality Certification for the above-referenced project
may be considered revoked by the DWQ and you will need to reapply for DWQ approval. This includes
submitting a complete application package with the appropriate fee.
This letter only addresses the granting of an extension to the due date for submittal of a final written
stormwater plan for Hope Valley Commons as required in Condition No. 7 of your 401 Water Quality
Certification and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be
aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
