Good Afternoon Laurie,
Please make sure that the application and cover letter that have been submitted. to your office have been read carefully.
As stated in the cover letter and in several areas throughout the application, the "feature" was determined to be
ephemeral by Ms. Sue Homewood with the DWQ. Therefore, based on my understanding of the regulations, Water
Quality Certification is only required for buffer authorization associated with a sewer line. If $570.00 is required for the
minor buffer authorization, please reflect this in your letter. However, the "stream" impacts only need to be permitted by
the Corps as they are the only agency that took jurisdiction over the feature as an unmitigable stream. Please keep the
permitting process moving forward.
