The DWQ has received a complete set of Stormwater Management Plan (SMP) including construction plans, BMP design
calculations and Stormwater BMP Operation and Maintenance (0&M) Manual approved by the City of Durham for the
proposed Wal-Mart Store (#4369) Project in Durham. The SMP has been reviewed and accepted to meet the SMP
Condition #6 of the 401 Water Quality Certification issued for the project (DWQ # 07-0939v2) on July 1, 2010.

Thanks for the update. Yes you must submit a copy of the complete set of approved plans and design calculations to us.

Joseph, we have received approval from the City of Durham for the construction plans of the various BMP's which will be
utilized for this project. We are still waiting on several paperwork issues, including finalization of the operation and
maintenance agreements, etc.
The City has provided us a set of plans which has been stamped with their approval. Is this stamped set of plans, along
with design calculations, sufficient to meet the submittal requirements of the Stormwater Management Plan required by
our 401 Certification?
Also, will we need to send these construction drawings and calculations directly to you?
