Wainwright, David From: James, Amy E Sent: Friday, January 28, 2011 1:52 PM To: Biddlecome, William J SAW Cc: Wainwright, David Subject: R-2507A additional wetland/tributary Attachments: R-2507A new wetland.pdf Hi Bill, While conducting a RCW re-survey a couple weeks ago for R-2507A, we found a previously unidentified wetland + a likely jurisdictional 'tributary' near the US 13/NC 137 intersection (Storys). The wetland is on the north side of the road, though in this section we are widening to the south. This is still a rough delineation, as we didn't have any augers (so no wetland form), but it appeared to be a 'real' wetland and not just a temporary non-growing season puddle. As for the surface water, it was very ditch-like (and seemed to be partially draining the wetland), but it had a OHWM and emptied into what looked like a jurisdictional stream feature outside the project area. Let me know what you'd like to do--the features in question are circled in the attached map. Thanks, Amy Amy E.
