VII. Impact Justification (Avoidance and Minimization)
After reviewing the results of the delineation conducted by CWS, on-site grading and
construction plans were redesigned to avoid impacting the perennial portion. of
Stream A (45 linear feet
VIII. Mitigation
In order to compensate for the aroposed impacts to iurisdicticnal waters of the U.S.,
this project proposes the maintenance of a 25 foot riparian buffer on. both- sides of
the on site perennial portion of Stream A In addition CWS will perform a series of
Stream Habitat Evaluations NCDWQ Stream Classifications, pebble counts
according to Rosgen's Stream Classification- _ Methods, and benth_ic
