This letter is in response to a request from Mr. Mack Summey (Davis-Martin-Powell &
Associates, Inc.) for the Division's determination of the applicability of the Randleman Lake Water
Supply Watershed Protection Regulations, 15A NCAC 2B .0250 - .025 1, to the subject property. A site
visit was conducted on November 13, 2002. In attendance were Jennifer Frye and Karen Rust (both of
this Office), Mr. Brian Sullivan (City of High Point) and Mr. Summey. D-M-P & Associates, Inc. has
supplied this Office with three copies of the enclosed Overall Grading, Drainage & Erosion Control Plan.
Based on this site visit, this Office has determined that Feature A feature identified on the
enclosed Plan is SUBJECT to the Randleman Lake Water Supply Watershed Regulations, including both
the Protection and Maintenance of Riparian Areas and Stormwater Requirements.
This Plan depicts only the general location of the Feature. Once the site has been surveyed,
please submit at least three legible copies of a surveyed plat map to this Office for plat
confirmation. Please refer to the enclosed Standard Buffer Confirmation sheet for further
instructions.
This letter addresses only the applicability of the Randleman Lake Water Supply Watershed
Regulations. Please keep in mind that there may be additional Federal, State, and Local
requirements for proposed activities at the subject property, specifically Sections 404 and 401 of the
Clean Water Act. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me at [phone].
