Dear Mr. and Mrs: Wiles:
This Office has reviewed your CAMA Major application and is placing your project on hold until
we receive the following additional information:
1). Please provide a copy of the agent authorization letter, giving Land Management Group
the authority to act as the signing official on permit applications.
2). Please demonstrate why you have no other practicable alternative to impacting
wetlands/waters on this site. A lack of practical alternatives may be shown by
demonstrating that, considering the potential for a reduction in size, configuration or
density of the proposed activity and all alternatives designs, the basic project purpose
cannot be practically accomplished in a manner which would avoid or result in less
adverse impact to wetlands/waters. It appears that wetland impacts could be avoided if
the home site was located on the largest upland area of the lot and if practical alternatives
are considered.
Please respond within three weeks of the date of this letter by sending a copy of the information to
Noelle Lutheran and to Cyndi Karoly, 401 Wetlands Unit, 2321 Crabtree Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27604-226,
