Looking north on the photo you see that the left pontoon of the lift is sitting on the bottom as well as the southern edge of the dock. My plan is to shovel/rake the higher areas away from the shore line thereby leveling the bottom under the dock and lift. I do not plan on removing any material from the bottom. The approximate area impacted is 20 x 14 or 280 square feet. My estimate of the depth of the highest part to be lowered is 30 inches. I estimate it will take me two days of shoveling/raking with a landscape rake to complete the work. I may have to jack the pontoons up to do the work, if so I will use two standard car jacks and wood beams. I �, 14
