EXPRESS REVIEW ACCEPTANCE LETTER

Project Name: The Jamison at Brier Creek
Dear Mr. Sand:
Wake County
On December 14, 2010, the Division of Water Quality DWQ received a request from Mr. Kevin Yates, of
EcoEngineering, regarding a project known as "The Jamison at Brier Creek" for acceptance into the
Express Review Program. The acceptance of this project was delayed due to Epoch Properties, Inc. not
having a current active status on the North Carolina Secretary of State's website. This issue has since
been rectified. This letter advises you that your project will be accepted into the Express Review Program
once the following items are received:
1) The application fee of $2,000.00 [401 Water Quality Certification with minor impacts + Riparian
Buffer Authorization], made payable to the North Carolina Division of Water Quality];
2) Five (5) complete and collated copies of the PCN Application and all documents we requested in
the pre-application meeting (instead of providing five copies of the full size plans you may provide
two copies of the full size plans along with three copies of the 11 X 17);
3) One (1) copy of the completed PCN Submittal Checklist
(hq2://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands/documents/PCNChecklist_vl 4 doc);
4) Two (2) copies of the diffuse flow provisions (if applicable);
5) One (1) data CD of full size plans in TIFF Group 4 format (black and white, not grayscale or color).
If the plans are too large to store in TIFF format, they can be stored in PDF.
The required pre-application meeting for this project was completed on December 29, 2010. The clock
for this project will not start until receipt of the completed application package and required fee are
received. If the impacts are greater than indicated on the Initial Interest Form and/or the services are
different, you may be required to remit an additional fee. If you have any questions or wish to discuss
