NCDOT proposes to replace the existing functionally deficient culvert
on SR 1616(Tuckaseegee Road)at Mill Creek with an improved
modern culvert; STV Engineers is providing planning,design and
Section 404/401 services on behalf of Division 10;an MCDC has
been prepared; a delineation of waters of the U.S. has been
completed-jurisdictional waters of the U.S. in the project area
include Mill Creek and an unnamed tributary of Mill Creek;there are
no wetlands in the project area; proposed culvert replacement will
include an offsite detour;the project has a Let date of March 3,2021.
