Brad/Ryan,
I wanted to provide a brief summary of our site visits this past Tuesday (Nov 10th):
1) Polecat looked excellent and is trending towards meeting the success criteria. No issues to address;
2) Selma Mill had areas of pine along the Reach A P2 bench that need to be removed/managed over the next
couple of monitoring periods. Supplemental planting may also be necessary in those areas. Please ensure you
provide a list of trees planted if supplemental planting is necessary. Overall, Selma Mill is trending towards
meeting success criteria;
3) Buffalo Branch also has areas that need continued pine removal/maintenance. There was also evidence of a
beaver dam in Reach B2 that needs notched/removed. Continued beaver removal will likely be necessary on
the main reaches as well. Overall, Buffalo Branch is trending towards meeting success criteria.
As discussed, the credit releases will be forthcoming for your sites, minus Poplar Creek, which will be issued
upon receipt of your adaptive management plan.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best Regards,
Sam
