Enclosed, please find five (5) copies of the 401/404 application (PCN form) and
Agent Authorization Form. A check for the application review fee is also enclosed.
This project is to install a new boat house, seawall, and docks at a private residence
on Lake Toxaway, Transylvania County, North Carolina. The foundations for both the
boat house and the seawall will be precast concrete block (or equal). Lake Toxaway is a
private lake and is classified as B; Trout. A trout buffer variance, if required, will be
submitted under separate cover to the NCDENR - Division of Land Resources.

The site is located in Toxaway Estates, a private residential development located in western Transylvania County, NC.
The lot fronts Lake Toxaway with has a classification of B: Trout. The general land use is residential. The site is partially
wooded.

To stabilize shoreline and to provide recreational facility.

Install new 20'x35' boathouse with precast concrete block foundation/retaining wall. Install 21 lienar feet of new seawall.
Install new 12'x26' swim dock. Install new 5'x20' kayak dock. The dredged material will be transported to an upland
disposal site with no return water. There will be minimual incidental fall back of dredged material.
