Just wanted to add the contractor was more than willing to make the change.
The revised drawing is hard to read but it shows the distance from the existing asbestos
bulkhead to the new replacement bulkhead is 1.5.
They considered, at our request, locating the new bulkhead waterward of the existing bulkhead.
But, disposal of the asbestos poses lots of problems, including cost. So, they minimized impacts
by moving the new structure further landward.
I'll send another email with our final comments, after I calculate the new impacts, shortly.

persuade them to minimize the 2.5 waterward movement of the new vinyl
bulkhead for this project (2010-0875). This is the revised proposal drawing.
