REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Taylor:
On April 5, 2006 the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your Minor Variance application to impact the
Neuse River riparian buffer to construct Phase IV of the Willow Run Subdivision. The DWQ has determined
that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ
will require additional information in order to process your application to impact the protected riparian buffer on
the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below, we will have to
move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2B .0233 and will place this project on hold
as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we
may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
1. Realignment
The plat provided indicates that Units 27,28,31,32,35,36,37,38,39, and 44 can be redesigned similar to
Unit 29 and reduce the impacts to the riparian buffer. The realignment would shift the dwellings towards
Taylor Street and away from the riparian buffer. Indicate why this can not be accomplished.
2. Plat
Provide a corrected plat with all new impacts shown on site ( ie. New dwelling, driveway, ect.)
